Feeling of Shame

Feeling of Shame

Feeling of Shame

Anger, Frustration, Irritation etc. Dealing with shame is a difficult task one may tend to sometime confuse it with the feeling of guilt. The feeling of guilt is about doing something wrong, whereas shame is about being wrong at the core of your heart.
This feeling of shame comes from the belief that, "I am basically flawed, inadequate, wrong, bad, unimportant, undeserving or not good enough."  It gives us a feeling of control over other people's feelings and behaviour and anything happen wrong to them due to our controlling.
Shame is a lower state of feeling of an internal state of inadequacy, unworthiness, dishonour, regret, or disconnection. Shame is a clear signal that our positive feelings have been interrupted. Another person or a circumstance can trigger shame in us, but so can a failure to meet our own ideals or standards. Given that shame can lead us to feel as though our whole self is flawed, bad, or subject to exclusion, it motivates us to hide or to do something to save face. So it is no wonder that shame avoidance can lead to withdrawal or to addictions that attempt to mask its impact.
Being shameless is overcoming yourself that constantly tells “I am not enough” and is the biggest barrier in regaining confidence. Shame is often infused in people at a very early stage where an individual can fall in the trap of disliking themselves for not having “what is right according to others and is widely acceptable” such as :
1. Being overweight
2. Not able to keep up with the pace of the world.
3. Having skin problems
4. Not good financial condition.
5. Being low in status.
6. Lack of Family or partner support.
